Anesthesiology and Resuscitation

 Main focus of AR Department activities:

The AR Department performs an uninterrupted care for general and regional anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures. In the bed section, there are 5 beds partly for multidomain care, partly for serious postoperative conditions. The department offers non-stop specialist consultations in preoperative treatment and urgent care for all departments of the Hospital departments. The bed department of AR Department is a part of multidomain ICU that concentrates all patients needing artificial pulmonary ventilation and hemodialysis. The outpatient surgery for pain management and palliative medicine has been opened for two years already. As of 2010, 7 doctors, 13  resuscitation nurses and 7 anesthesiology nurses work at the AR Department.
